DEVELOPMENT/TEST ENGINEER IN WARWICKSHIRE

As Development/Test release Engineer, you will ensure products meet technical requirements through continuous evaluation of the product throughout the development cycle and be responsible for authoring and release of Test Specifications and Test Releases of product from concept design to final design and production.

Development/Test Release Engineer Role:

Evaluate customer/application specification and determine compliance through specification review process.
Technical lead for generation and review of specification related documentation (application, design, legislation, customer demand, product & supplier re-validation).
Support to Change Management processes including assessment of test requirements & test definition.
Time & cost estimation of test activities for business case analysis.
Definition of test requirements and CVP/DVP/PVP creation.
Liaise with Senior Development Test Engineer to agree test planning and requirements.
Post-test Test Release generation and technical sign-off.
Approval of Test Reports through the Test Order System.
Communicate test results within the Company and to Customers.
Support root cause analysis of test failures using 8D or CAPA processes.
Support the DFMEA and lessons learned development.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of test methods and procedures.
Ability to travel internationally.
Other such reasonable duties within the general scope of the role.

Monitor and improve the performance of your work and processes you contribute to, addressing deviations or communicate need for support. You are expected and have authority to temporarily stop work or processes if safety, environment or quality is at risk.

Development / Test Engineer Requirements:

Engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
Minimum of 3-5 years` experience of working in a similar role.
Sound & extensive understanding of requirement analysis and test methodologies.
Knowledge and familiarity with national and international test specifications.
MS Office skills.
Strong Excel skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Able to manage time and work under pressure to tight deadlines.
Able to manage the demands of numerous tasks.
